Senior Legal Assistant
Julie Martin is one of Arizona’s foremost legal assistants in Medicaid and special needs law. She joined the firm for the second time in 2008 and is the firm’s go-to person for all public benefits matters. She helps Mr. McLaughlin develop long term care planning strategies and handles the preparation and execution of public benefits applications, including ALTCS, AHCCCS, and VA …
Katie Dozier is the office manager and bookkeeper for The Law Offices of Chester B. McLaughlin, P.C and works in our Prescott office. She joined the firm as a secretary and receptionist in 2016. She oversees all office operations to ensure their effectiveness and efficiency. She is in charge of handling human resource matters, event and seminar planning, client and other office billings, client fee agreements, and all of the firm’s other business matters.
Wendy Swainston-Lietz is a probate and estate planning paralegal for the Law Offices of Chester B. McLaughlin, PC. As some may remember, Wendy worked for the firm from 2000 to 2005, and recently came back to re-join the firm in August of 2018. Wendy has twenty-six years of experience in probate, trust, and conservatorship/guardianship administration and litigation.
Natalie Geraghty is the office secretary/receptionist. She joined the firm in June 2018, and handles scheduling, answering phones, opening files, greeting clients, and related tasks. Natalie grew up in the Northwest, and finally settled in Prescott in 2014. She is a student at Yavapai Community College, where she is working toward a degree in English Literature.
Ben and Jerry are Mr. McLaughlin’s two Havanese dogs. They live at the office and serve as the office’s official Elder Law dog attorneys. Ben and Jerry understand what it is to be elderly, as they are both now thirteen years old. Their areas of expertise include greeting people at the door and begging for treats, which are always kept outside the front door for our clients and friends to hand out.
